1. Find personal protective gear:

  • Find thick rubber gloves.
  • Eye shields & protection.
  • Face coverings to prevent smoke inhalation.

2. Get the right cleaning supplies:

  • Find products with tri-sodium phosphates.
  • (TSP) is beneficial with smoke and odor removal.

3. Removing smoke and soot from walls and floors:

  • Find a mild soap or detergent.
  • Gather 1 gallon of warm water.
  • Mix 3-6 tablespoons of tri-sodium phosphate.
  • Add at least 1 cup of bleach or eco-friendly cleaner.
  • When the water is dirty, dump it carefully and repeat.
